DELTA®-PT

Moisture blocking dimpled membrane with plaster substrate mesh for damp basements, with rear ventilation. Plaster can be applied or drywall attached.

Properties

DELTA®-PT forms a moisture blocking, sturdy base for drywall and gypsum or cement based plaster. Drywall can be easily attached directly to the membrane. The 8 mm high dimples of DELTA®-PT create a ventilated gap between basement wall and interior wall finish. Moisture is evacuated through ventilation gaps at floor and ceiling, while the wall finish remains permanently dry.

Material

Special, High Density Polyethylene membrane, thermally bonded to a HDPE mesh that serves as plaster substrate.

Application

DELTA®-PT is laid overlapping in vertical sheets and fastened to the wall using fasteners (DELTA®-PLUG) at 12" on center. A ventilation gap of at least 3/8" must be left near the floor and ceiling in order to ensure sufficient rear ventilation.
