High Protection FactorThe new Delta-Fassade S facing sheet protects insulation layers under wall facings with very wide joints. When equipped with an integrated self-sealing edge, the material becomes windproof.
Facings featuring very wide open joints permit new design options. At the same time, such joints greatly increase the danger of the underlying insulation layer being impaired by moisture and dirt penetrating from outside. For this reason, Delta-Fassade S, a sheet that will protect heat-insulation layers in all back-vented facing constructions featuring open joints up to 50 millimetres in width that cover up to 40 percent of the facing surface was developed. The sheet will serve equally well under glass facings that transmit up to 20 percent of the incoming UV radiation.
Being permanently UV-resistant, the material will not become brittle even under intense solar radiation. As its colour is so dark as to be almost black, the sheet is not visible even through wide joints but rather reinforces their attractive vanity-line effect.
The Delta-Fassade S Plus variant is equipped with an integrated self-sealing edge, so that a single operation is enough to protect facing insulation layers safely from moisture and give them a windproof packaging at the same time.
