DELTA-TRELA PLUS

Application

Install DELTA®-TRELA in horizontal runs (i. e. parallel to eaves) with the dimple texturing facing upward and the 10 cm edge margin positioned on the side closer to the ridge. Use wide-head nails to fix the sheet over its edge margin.

Install the next roll such that it overlaps over the edge margin of the roll immediately below, ensuring safe water lead-off to the gutter. Standard-sized fixing clips and nails can be used to fix the cladding panels due to the high compressibility of the dimpled air-gap mat.

At the end of the roll, peel of and cut off a 10cm wide strip of the air-gap mat to permit overlap.

Material

Vapor permeable membrane based on DELTA-VENT S with a laminated on polypropylene randomly oriented fibre mat with studded structure.

Properties

• The optimum underlay for metal – clad roofs.
• Reduces Rainfall Noise by up to 15%. dB.
• DELTA – Trela allows residual water vapour in rafters and sheathing to escape due to the high permeability (Sd value approx. 0.02 m) of the base sheet.
• Consists of a base sheet laminated with a 8 mm thick dimple-textured random-fibre mat.
