DELTA-DRAIN

Application

Install the dimpled sheet and the geotextile so that they overlap at the edges, holding them in place with DELTA®-HAFTNAGEL. The geotextile should always point outwards.

Sheets fitted to cellar and retaining walls should not be placed over the drainage pipe but should terminate in the drainrock close to the pipe.

Sheets may be nailed down with clout nails, clamped down with wood or plaster hooks, or fastened with a bolt gun.

We recommend DELTA®-MS DÜBEL for fastening dimpled sheets to some hard material such as concrete or brick masonry: simply drill an 8-mm hole and hammer home the plug.

The upper sheeting edge should always be protected by DELTA®-NOPPENBAHNEN-PROFIL

Material

A studded membrane made of special, high-density polyethylene and PP non-woven fabric.

Properties

  • Is a two-way dimpled sheet made from special high-density PE with a fused-on PP geotextile. A compact system that may be applied quickly straight from the roll.
  • DELTA®-DRAIN creates an air gap on the side facing the foundation wall which serves to conduct water and may, whenever required in special circumstances, form a vapourpressure levelling layer.
  • The flow capacity of DELTA®-DRAIN amounts to 1.5 l/s • m under a load of 20 kN/m2.
