Material

Polyethylene. Contains no plasticisers. This therefore guarantees compatibility with all building materials (e.g. bitumen, PVC, PIB, ECB and elastomers).

Properties

By using attachable compensating disks, DELTA slab bearings regulate any unevenness in the sub-structure. The height is adjusted by splitting the compensating disk at the break point designed for this purpose. DELTA slab bearings make level slab surfaces possible, with no mortar or sand bed. The slabs can be laid or replaced easily in any weather. The slab covering is separated at a distance of 15mm from the structure below. Foliage cannot penetrate into the joints, and any rising of the slabs due to freezing, shifting due to temperature variations, cracks or leaks are avoided.

Application

Lay under slab corners. The fit and distance between slabs is set precisely by the pins sticking up in the cross. Insulating materials must have a greater resistance to pressure than the DELTA slab bearings. With bituminous insulation, DELTA slab bearings can only be used if an intermediate layer is used (a building protection mat) to distribute the pressure, as bitumen runs if pressure on it is concentrated in just a few spots.
