Drainage system DELTA®-TERRAXX ULTRA

Highly pressure-resistant protection and drainage system offering an extraordinary high-pressure resistance and an extremely robust filter fleece. Can be used on areas which may be driven on by trucks and on areas with high traffic volumes, as well as in vertical applications with installation depths of up to 20 m.

The material combination of pressure-resistant dimpled sheet and laminated, filter-stable geotextile serves as a drainage layer for all the types of DELTA® -TERRAXX by offering an effective protection to the pressure-resistant substrates from any mechanical influences. Furthermore, the strips are equipped with an integrated self-adhesive edge and have a tested long-term durability of 100 years.

    As a water-bearing layer, DELTA®-TERRAXX ULTRA protects against backwater, strata, and seepage water. For this reason, it is the robust solution for a maximum level of safety in applications with extreme loads.
  • Significantly higher water drainage capacity than a mineral drainage layer
    Thanks to the special knob structure of DELTA®-TERRAXX ULTRA, there is unhindered water drainage. This means that paving and slab coverings are permanently protected against any frost damage. Furthermore, the drainage layer reaching a height of 10 mm formed by the dimpled membrane has such a high-water drainage capacity so to reach a higher level in terms of efficiency than a mineral drainage layer of a thickness between 20 and 30 cm.
  • With a tested long-term durability of 100 years
    In accordance with the standard DIN EN 13252, DELTA®-TERRAXX ULTRA is free of recycling material and has passed extensive tests for resistance to aging by independent, accredited testing institutes. Thanks to DELTA®-TERRAXX ULTRA you may benefit from a permanent and sustainable protection of the building envelope - with a tested long-term durability of up to 100 years.
  • Optimum ratio of the knob structure and the basis weight
    The product DELTA®-TERRAXX ULTRA reaches a drainage capacity of 2.43 l/s·m even with an installation depth of 20 m. The dimpled membrane owes this to the ideal ratio of the dimpled structure and to its surface weight, which means that it offers the ideal combination of pressure resistance, drainage performance and handling at a height of 10 mm.
  • During the laying operation: fast laying in the area and simple when it comes to the details
    DELTA®-TERRAXX ULTRA has a roll format of 10.5 x 2.40 m. This means that 25.2 m2 can be quickly laid in one operation. For a detailed design, the drainage sheet may simply be cut to size by means of a cutter knife.
  • Confirmed impact noise reduction of up to 32 dB
    On the basis of the standard DIN EN ISO 10140, the impact sound tests were carried. In this context, DELTA®-TERRAXX was installed between the waterproofing and the covering or gravel bed. The RheinMain University (Hochschule RheinMain) confirms an impact sound reduction of up to 32 dB. The human ear perceives an impact noise reduced by 10 dB already as an airborne noise reduced by 50%.
  • Smooth overlapping edge equipped with an integrated adhesive zone
    The integrated self-adhesive edge combined with the smooth overlapping edge enables an easy connection of the strips one to another. This prevents grit or sand from trickling in by offering the seal an additional protection. Furthermore, the stability of the individual tracks when it comes to stability is improved.
  • Ideal protection against punctiform loads
    The contact area of the DELTA®-TERRAXX ULTRA to the substrate is of approximately 80%. This results in an even load distribution since the sealing is ideally protected from punctiform loads by the backfill material.
  • Prevention of the clogging of the knob structure
    Thanks to the laminated geotextile, which is extremely filter-stable thanks to its special structure and characteristic opening width of 75 μm, the dimpled sheet can be reliably and permanently prevented from clogging up.
  • Standard Compliant
    The drainage sheet meets the requirements of the standards DIN 4095, DIN 18531 and DIN 18533 and is certified according to the standard DIN EN 13252 and/or has a CE mark.

Application

The highly pressure-resistant protective and drainage sheet can be used as follows:

  • - under areas being accessible for trucks,
  • - under areas being accessible for cars with high traffic volumes and
  • - in vertical applications with installation depths of up to 20 m.

Furthermore, the product DELTA®-TERRAXX ULTRA may also be used in all the applications of DELTA®-TERRAXX .
