ALREADY PFAS-FREE

Since the first discussions of a possible PFAS ban, DÖRKEN has done everything in its power to develop PFAS-free products and optimize existing products. Some of DÖRKEN's best-known zinc flake products were already PFAS-free anyway and are inspiring with their quality and use.

Where we began

DÖRKEN has always reacted to current market trends - such as the chrome VI ban or now the possible PFAS ban. Our zinc flake systems - consisting of basecoat and topcoat - protect components of all kinds against corrosion, thus guaranteeing their durability. DÖRKEN was an early adopter of PFAS-free products, which are in no way inferior to other products in terms of quality. Let’s talk about our already PFAS-free products:

DELTA-PROTEKT® TC 502 GZ

DELTA-PROTEKT® TC 502 GZ is a water-based, silver topcoat with excellent friction properties for metric components.

  • Ideal friction coefficient properties for metric fasteners
  • Free from PFAS, chromium compounds and heavy metals
  • High cathodic corrosion protection in combination with a DELTA-PROTEKT® basecoat
  • High process stability
  • Excellent resistance to media and chemicals
  • High mechanical resistance

DELTA-PROTEKT ® KL 100

  • Standard for fasteners
  • PFAS-free basecoat
  • Very good corrosion resistance in outdoor exposure
  • Fulfils the continuous temperature resistance 96 h at 180°C
  • Provides process-safe corrosion protection > 720h in SST (according to ISO 9227-NSS)
  • Development required by can be used for all geometries
  • Good protection against white rust and various (mechanical) damage
  • Free from chromium compounds and heavy metals
